Our Auto Repair Shop, from A (& B) to Z

A & B Motors is a full-service preventive maintenance and auto repair shop, locally-owned and operated in Cottonwood, AZ. We’ve been a trusted Verde Valley business since 1981, with generations of car owners bringing their vehicles to our shop. As a local institution with deep roots in the community, we get to know our customers by name, and work with them to keep their cars on the road as long as possible.

Get to Know Us

At our helm are Bill Olson and Natalie Priest. In 1981, Bill established A & B Motors with his brother-in-law, Al (hence A & B), when Bill decided to buy an auto repair shop simply because he loved working on cars. Bill and Al combined their knowledge of car repair and business, and the shop took off from there, building its reputation and customer base.

Today, Bill has more than 38 years of auto repair and shop owner experience. He is ASE Master certified, and stays up-to-date on the latest automotive training courses. Bill considers his expertise to be in air conditioning repair, engine diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, and vehicle scheduled maintenance, but with his years of experience, he can truly handle anything.

Natalie is ASE certified as a service writer, and makes sure our work is flowing smoothly from the front to the back of the shop. She is excellent at communicating vehicle repair needs to our customers. Like Bill, one of our other technicians is also ASE Master certified, and another tech is about to become Master certified as well.

Les has been in the automotive industry for decades and is a master at customer service and appreciation! He is an outstanding member of our team and people often ask for him by name when they call the shop.
Wyatt DuncanASE Certified Master Technician
Wyatt is our lead mechanic in the shop and is always showing the other mechanics how to do things in a better and easier way! He is very thorough and can handle all challenges both big and small.

Garret JohnsonLube Technician
Garret is our extra hand around the shop, but boy does a job get done twice as fast with that extra hand! Garret is only a Senior in High School yet he is highly respected by our whole team, his teachers, peers and all who are fortunate enough to make his acquaintance.
